There are few, if any, good quality restaurants in the Somerset Region Region. The Club Hotel in Lowood does good pub meals and the Tarampa Pub does a popular fixed priced buffet at week-ends. There are two pubs in Fernvale that offer standard 'chips with everything' pub meals that may be popular with families. Probably the best in the region is Woodland's Restaurant near Marburg which operates at week-ends. Apart from that, if you want to eat out in style, you may have to travel to Ipswich or even Brisbane.
